Tie Me To The Moon Go Back
Familiar to Archipel for some time now, Jesse Voltaire debuts, with the supportive co-production of top banana Pheek, his very elastic and mentally winding release "Tie Me to the Moon".
"4 6 3 8 A B K 2 4 A L G M O R 3 Y X 24 89 R P S T O V A L" stretches beyond the usual conceptual limits of elasticity with its ever constant arrays of riverflow depth while "Jungle Love" takes the listener on an extended slithering escapade into the sweaty everglades of aquatic unknowns.
"On the Prowl" is indeed on the prowl; for filling morsels of mental matter to squeeze and bend into impossible extra dimensional figures and does not cease its pulsing until it is satisfied. "Love Under Will" takes on shades of dub but remains both soothingly hypnotic and driving at the same time and within the same rock solid structure while things get a bit more gooey with "Kink is the New Pink" where quirky pieces of a complex puzzle gravitate towards their natural kinky spots.
"Y" is relentlessly psychedelic, loaded with pores seeping schizophrenic fluids vapourizing into neostratus head casing feedback. "Psitron Interceptor" fills the listener's mind with hypnagogic burst of metallic mist and beams of shattered moonlight.
